- WebJunction Pennsylvania (http://pa.webjunction.org/) makes a large selection of online workshops and training courses available to library employees, library board members, and trustees in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at a cost of $5 per course. The new service is supported by a grant from the Office of Commonwealth Libraries.
- As a library staff member working in Pennsylvania, you can access discount online courses sponsored by WebJunction PA.
Enrolling for courses through the Webjunction PA site provides an opportunity for you to get CE credits at a very low cost and no travel time,
- To enroll at the $5 per course price, you must first become an affiliate of the Pennsylvania site. The WebJunction system keeps track of courses taken and can generate a certificate upon course completion.
1) Visit the new WebJunction Pennsylvania (http://pa.webjunction.org).
2) Sign in with your current WebJunction username and password or create a new account.
3) After signing in, click on "Edit Account" and the "My Affiliations" tab to request affiliation with Pennsylvania.
4) After you look around, comment on your thoughts or experiences in the member center (http://pa.webjunction.org/membercenter).
5) Need help? Receive help in the member center, or contact the Web Junction PA team at : (http://pa.webjunction.org/contact).
The Learning Express Library service was retained for this budget year. However, usage has dropped. Please promote and encourage the use of the Learning Express Library service in your library. There are a variety of materials available to help promote Learning Express.
